Social Compress ("the app") compresses your videos, photos and audio so they are smaller and faster to upload. This policy explains how your data is handled.
All compression happens on your device. Your photos, videos and audio files are never uploaded to us or any third party. Compressed outputs are saved only to your device's own folders (Movies, Music, Pictures), and your original files are never modified or deleted.
The app does not collect or transmit your personal information or media off your device for its core compression features.
The app includes an optional setting (Settings → "Send anonymous error reports") that is off by default. If you turn it on, the app may send anonymized crash and error diagnostics to help us fix problems. These reports never include your media, file names or personal identifiers, and you can turn the setting off at any time.
The app is not directed to children under 13.
If we add features that change data handling (for example, optional ads or in-app purchases), we will update this policy before those features go live.
